What is a VPROJ file
VPROJ files are created by the VSDC Video Editor programs. There is a free as well as a paid version of this video editing program. Both allow users to edit their videos more or less thoroughly by adding music, transitions, cutting, and more. Any projects created in this editing process can be saved using the VPROJ extension. The file was created in order to save the work in progress of a video editing project.
Since VPROJ is a project file, there might be quite some issues opening it. The project file does not save the actual video data. Instead, it saves links to the video that is being processed by the program. Thus, when you open the file, it might happen that you can not access the video data, music, text, and other needed data. If the files used in the video editing are accessible, however, you can export and save the video inside the project in a more common format such as MP4.
Here's a small, but not exhaustive list of programs that can open VPROJ documents:
- VSDC Free Video Editor (Windows)
