What is a TAX file
Similar to files like TAX2012, TAX2013, and so on, the TAX file is a tax return file created using TurboTax. TurboTax is a program that offers US users to prepare their federal and state taxes themselves. It is used by small businesses as well as individual persons.
The TAX file saves all kinds of data that has been entered by the user and is needed to file taxes in the US. The electronic forms of TurboTax provide an input mask for users to enter their tax data.
