What is a SS file
Files that use the file extension SS (or .ss) are created using SilverStripe. SilverStripe is a framework based on PHP5 that allows developers to code web applications using an object-oriented approach.
SS files are written in a templating language provided by SilverStripe. It allows any plain text such as XML or HTML to be enhanced using a series of commands, such as conditionals, loops, and more. Thus, SS files can contain more dynamic content than plain text files could.
