What is a HT file
HyperTerminal is a program that allows the user to emulate a terminal environment. This program uses HT files to save different settings. The HT files are most commonly used to store dial-up information to use the same TCP/IP connection on different devices or using different installations of HyperTerminal.
HT files store settings about the connection between the HyperTerminal software to a remote location. The HyperTerminal software was used in Windows operating systems up to Windows XP. Afterwards. The software has not been included in Windows anymore, but can still be installed on newer Windows operating systems after acquiring it from Hilgraeve themselves.
